Founded in 1996, Sanguem Cricketers began with a simple yet powerful goal — to bring quality cricket to grassroots communities across Goa. What started as a local initiative soon grew into a trusted platform that nurtured young talent, hosted landmark tournaments, and attracted some of the state’s finest players. Over time, the organisation evolved steadily, introducing structured competitions, coaching camps, and professional formats, culminating in the launch of the Goichi League as a franchise-based tournament with player auctions and elite participation.
As we approach our 25th anniversary, the Goichi League stands as a symbol of progress, passion, and purpose. The 2026 edition marks a historic milestone with a record ₹10,00,000 first prize, world-class floodlit matches at MCC Ground, Margao, and a renewed focus on transparency and long-term development. With a dedicated Cricket Academy in Sanguem on the horizon, our journey continues — building future champions and strengthening Goa’s cricketing legacy.
